Additions and alterations for the 2009 Regatta.

  1. All events listed as 'for boys' in past years are now 'Open' events as in the ARA Rules.

  2. As a trial last year, the regatta accepted J13s into J14 crews if they were in year 9 at school.
    After consultation, the committee has decided to return to the previous rule:
    The regatta will not accept the entry of any cox below J13 or any other competitor below the J14 age group.

  3. Three new events have been introduced as a trial this year:

    • J171x    Junior 17 Single Sculls
    • J17G1x Junior 17 Girls' Single Sculls
    • J15G8+ Junior 15 Girls' Eights

  4. CHG1x Championship Single Sculls (Internationals Cup) has been moved from Sunday to Saturday

  5. CHG2x Championship Double Sculls (Ferguson Bowl) has been moved from Sunday to Saturday

  6. CHG4x Championship Quadruple Sculls (Sherriff Cup) has been moved from Saturday to Sunday.

  7. Prices have been held the same again this year, but unfortunately, due to the ever increasing cost of staging the regatta, the Committee have to give notice that the competitor's entrance fees will probably have to rise for the 2010 regatta.
