MARQUEE SPACES

Bookings for marquee spaces have now closed. All spaces have been booked on both sides of the lake. Applications have been dealt with on a strictly first-come-first-served basis.

On the Grassy Bank (North Side) pitches run from the finish line towards the start. Numbers 1 - 9 are at the rear of the parking area. Numbers 10 - 25 run from the scoreboard along the top of the ridge towards the start. On the Grassy Bank (South Side of the course) numbers 26 - 37 are beyond the bus stop. Vehicle access to these is via Adbolton Lane, past the main entrance to the Centre and after about 600 metres turn left down the lane leading to the ski-tow lake. The route is clearly signposted. Car park charges are the same on either side of the course. However, spectators may wish to leave vehicles in Car Park 'B' (free) and walk through to the viewing area alongside the south course road. (See our website map) All pitches will have a flagpole and it is our earnest hope that all will wish to fly their club flags, though it would be a wise precaution to take them down overnight.

PLEASE NOTE Those employing contractors to erect marquees should arrange for all such work to be done on THURSDAY, 22nd May. No contractors will be allowed onto the site before this, or before or during racing on Friday or Saturday. NWSC require that contractors supply a Method Statement, Risk Assessment and Insurance Certificate. They should contact the Operations Manager, John Ball (Phone 01159 824713; e-mail info@nationalwatersportsevents.co.uk). In order to avoid inconveniencing others, those erecting their own marquees should do so before racing starts. Dismantling should be done after racing ends.
